NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss

NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss is my absolute favorite lip gloss! I've only started buying makeup about a year ago so my makeup stash isn't very large. I only focused on eye products in the beginning of my makeup buying escapade. I started to branch out to lip products about half a year ago. I own some Revlon Colorburst lipglosses, Physician's Formula glosses, Lip Smackers and NYX Mega Shine Lip Glosses. I have also tried plenty of dollar brand lip glosses.Mega Shine Lip Glosses are PARABEN FREE.

Lasting Time: I believe NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss is my longest lasting lip gloss! It lasts around 4 hours on me which is a MIRACLE. Even lipstick doesn't last that long on me! My lips seem to love eating lip products. Usually nothing last more than an hour and a half on my lips.

Pigmentation: The lip gloss is very opaque. Natural has the most coverage then Beige then Pink Gold.

Individual Features:

• Natural:  Beige is a skin tone color with salmon undertones. There is no glitter at all.
• Pink Gold: On skin, Pink Gold is pink with mauve undertones. It has micro glitter but is so fine that the gloss has no gritty feel. I'm unsure of what color the micro glitter is. I think it is white/sliver which is funny since it's called pink gold.
• Beige: Beige is probably one of the most popular colors in the Mega Shine Gloss collection. It's called beige but the color is actually pink with mauve undertones. I feel like Pink Gold and Beige are almost the same color except the glitter in Pink Gold makes the gloss look much more purple than Beige. Beige has no glitter.

Smell: A feature many people comment on. The gloss smells like artificial cherry candy. It isn't repugnant but is quite strong. I image people that are sensitive to smells might not be able to wear it. Occasionally I would get a whiff of the smell.

Texture: The feel of the gloss isn't sticky but feels like something is definitely on my lips. It's more slick if I had to describe the physical feel of it. It also does not dry out my lips.

Package: I usually care more about the product than the package (unless it's very gorgeous/cute or if it's unbearably frustrating). The package is a tube of gloss, can be cuter but doesn't have to be. It uses a doe foot applicator.

Overall: This gloss isn't dubbed my favorite gloss for no reason. I love how long lasting it is. The pigmentation is great and texture doesn't feel funky. I don't mind the smell but some people will. Paraben free too!
